Last week I told you about the Expo West 2026 trends that are actively hurting your gut.
Spoiler: a lot of what's on that show floor is marketing dressed up as wellness.
But here's the thing ā I never walk out of that place empty-handed either.
Every year, buried in the chaos, there are products that I love, and that I can't wait to share with you. No hype. No gimmicks. Just good ingredients and honest food.
So here they are....
01. Caulitos, Sea Salt
The chip situation in gut health is messy. Most "healthier" options are still fried in junky oils, loaded with inflammatory ingredients, or made with refined starches that spike blood sugar and irritate the gut.
Caulitos are different. These little chips are baked (not fried), made with avocado oil, and the base is organic red lentil, organic white rice, and organic cauliflower. That's it, plus sea salt. Clean label. Real food. And genuinely crunchy in a way that scratches that chip itch.
Where to Buy: I immediately got home and ordered them through Thrive Market. You can also get them on Amazon.
02. Painterland Sisters, Plain Skyr Yogurt
Skyr is having a moment, and this one deserves it.
Painterland Sisters is a fourth-generation, women-owned, regenerative dairy farm in Pennsylvania. Their plain skyr is made from organic whole milk, lactase enzyme, and live active cultures including Bifidobacterium. No fillers. No added protein powders. Just real dairy with 16-21g of naturally occurring protein per serving.
The lactase enzyme makes it naturally lactose-free, which is a big deal for this community. Fermented dairy with live cultures is one of the oldest gut-healing foods on the planet.
Where to Buy: HERE is their store locator.
03. Rawmio, Almond Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Spread
I didn't expect to love this as much as I did.
Rawmio makes a stone-ground nut butter spread that tastes exactly like cookie dough ā raw almonds, raw cashews, coconut sugar, maca, vanilla bean powder, Himalayan pink salt, and raw chocolate chips (cacao nibs, coconut sugar, cacao butter). USDA Organic. No refined sugar. No seed oils. Just whole food ingredients blended into something that absolutely should not taste this good.
The raw cacao is worth noting. Cacao is rich in flavonoids, which support the gut microbiome and have prebiotic properties.
Where to Buy: Amazon
p.s. I probably love this one so much because the Purely Cacao from my old peanut butter company was also a favorite.
04. StarWalker Farms Organic Meat Sticks
These are the first-ever Regenerative Organic Certified meat sticks in the world....and that's not just a marketing badge.
They're made from grass-finished beef, pasture-raised pork, and 100% organic spices. Naturally fermented the old-world way (no citric acid, no seed oil coatings), with zero sugar, zero nitrates, and zero preservatives. Seasoned simply with sea salt, cracked black pepper, and garlic.
The natural fermentation piece matters for gut health. This process partially breaks down proteins and can support easier digestion compared to conventionally processed meat snacks.
For on-the-go protein that won't wreck your gut? This is the one.
Where to Buy: Amazon
05. Maple Hill Kefir
If you've been in this community for more than five minutes, you know I have a long history with fermented foods.
Kefir done right ā like Maple Hill's ā is one of the most powerful gut-healing foods I know.
Their kefir is made from 100% grass-fed organic whole milk and contains approximately 12 different live and active probiotic strains, including Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Bifidobacterium lactis, and Lactococcus lactis. No artificial anything. No antibiotics. No hormones. No GMOs.
It tastes like tart, drinkable yogurt. And your gut bacteria will thank you for it.
Where to Buy: HERE is their store locator.
06. Tatemada Tostadas
Clean Mexican eats ā for real.
Tatemada is a Texas-based brand making oven-baked totopos (tortilla chips) and tostadas from nixtamalized organic blue corn, water, lime, and pink Himalayan salt.
This is the kind of brand that proves "clean label" doesn't have to mean "flavorless."
Where to Buy: You can get the totopos on Amazon. HERE is their store locator to grab the tostadas.
07. Truvani Sugar Cookie Bar
Yes, I'm biased. I love Vani Hari and this brand. But that's exactly why I know these bars hold up under scrutiny.
The Sugar Cookie flavor is made from organic cashews, organic dates, organic almonds, organic maple syrup, organic bourbon vanilla powder (organic cane sugar, organic vanilla bean extractives), sea salt, and organic almond extract. That's your entire ingredient list.
No refined sugar. No soy. No dairy. No fillers. No preservatives. USDA Organic, gluten-free, and vegan.
It tastes like a sugar cookie. I'm not going to oversell it, it honestly sells itself.
Where to Buy: Most health food stores + on Amazon.
That's my list from this year's show.
Not everything at Expo West is worth your time or your gut. But these seven? They're worth a closer look.
